Partial Care

The Partial Care Program focuses on helping individuals avoid re-hospitalization by maintaining emotional and psychological stability through structured daily support. Services include counseling, life skill-building, and job preparation in a group setting led by a professional team of counselors and nurses.

Participants attend the program on-site in Eatontown, NJ, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The program supports adults from Monmouth and Ocean Counties who benefit from regular structure and targeted mental health support.

Vocational Evaluation

CVR’s Vocational Evaluation Services are designed for students and adults with special needs who are looking to better understand their strengths, interests, and readiness for employment. Through a structured 25-day program*, participants are assessed on observable work skills, vocational interests, and any potential barriers to entering competitive, community-based employment.

In-House Work Experience

As part of the evaluation, individuals take part in real job tasks inside CVR’s on-site Production Center. Tasks may include piece work, packaging, labeling, and assembly — all tied to actual contracts with local businesses. This environment offers a supportive and practical way for participants to experience the types of responsibilities found in a workplace.

Community Job Sampling

To further broaden the evaluation, participants also visit pre-approved work sites in the community. These include locations throughout Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex, and Mercer Counties. At each site, evaluators observe performance and behavior in a new setting to help identify vocational needs, interests, and challenges. CVR provides full liability coverage for these placements.

Individual Counseling

Each participant receives weekly one-on-one counseling sessions to reflect on their progress and discuss any challenges or goals. In addition, a variety of assessment tools are used throughout the program to gather deeper insights. Upon completion, CVR provides a comprehensive final report, including attendance, work habits, situational assessments, identified barriers, and personalized recommendations.

*The program runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for a total of 25 active program days (excluding holidays and excused absences).

Work Adjustment Training

Work Adjustment Training offers participants hands-on instruction to build job-readiness skills and overcome individual employment barriers. This program supports individuals who are preparing for employment and need structured practice, guidance, and feedback in a supportive environment.

Extended Employment Services

For individuals who require long-term support before transitioning to competitive employment, CVR offers Extended Employment Services. This program is available to individuals age 25 and older who have been referred through the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS).

Participants are paired with a case manager to develop personalized employment goals and receive regular one-on-one guidance. Rather than attending group counseling, participants focus solely on developing their skills through paid, on-site work in CVR’s Production Center. This setting offers a supportive, lower-stress environment that allows for gradual progress toward readiness.

The program operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Eatontown, NJ.
