CVR's Autism Academy Academy and Day Habilitation Program will follow a curriculum based off of the Functional Communication Skills Curriculum by Provisional Outreach Program for Autism and Other Related Disorders and 21st Century Life and Careers Standard Core Curriculum for the State of New Jersey. CVR's Autism Academy is an Adult Day Program consisting of three Levels according to ability,
consisting of no more than, a participant to staff ratio of 6:1.

There will be a master schedule for each level and each individual will have a modified schedule pertaining to their goals/needs. Each individual will be assessed through the Assessment of Functional Living Skills by James W. Partington, Ph.D., BCBA-D and Michael M. Mueller, Ph.D., BCBA-D. After the assessment, staff will determine the level of the person's skills and how they use them. The individual will then have a schedule that reflects what skills need to be improved upon, while maintaining the stronger skills.

A re-assessment will be given yearly.

After the re-assessment, we will determine what skill areas have improved and what areas need further building.

To ensure that the Individual is in an environment that will best suit their needs, our Behavioral Health Program Director and Certified School Psychologist will perform a Modified Overt Aggression Scale before entering the program and determine if the individual's needs will be met at our facility.

The Center for Vocational Rehabilitation is currently a Self -Directed Day Program Qualified Provider.
